What it means in practice
Targon-GEAN is a unique company who has a special advantage over most financial firms worldwide. We have been practicing ‘the art of business negotiating’ for over three decades in some 25 different countries. Throughout the course of these extensive years, we have gained the knowledge, resources and skills that are necessary in the art of negotiations for predominately small to mid-size companies and corporations.
Once you have decided Targon-GEAN will be your consultants and negotiators:
- Almost immediately, you will become aware that through our comprehensive research we have a vast network of associates from past and present negotiations that will enable us to pursue and expand the future objective and impact this will have on your company. This will empower you to better understand your competition and how to overcome any obstacles they present.
- Because I oversee each individual client personally with assistance from an experienced staff; you will realize that my area of expertise is mainly in negotiations—both domestic and abroad. I am able to evaluate and conclude who is and who is not for sale; thereby, determining where to focus future joint strategies for the seller's and buyer's potential tax benefits and exit scenario…
- You will view differently, your own financial statements, thereby, making you aware of various unanticipated instruments which are at your dispose to re-finance your business.
- This will also allow you to view differently your human resources, how you should train and motivate them, whether you should recruit outside talent and where to reasonably be sure to find it.
If you accept our standard proposal (we have no objections to different arrangements, such as Project Basis or Time Spent Basis), the expense to you would vary from $3,000 to $7,000 per month (90% of our assignments) in addition to documented and justified expenditures.
This is roughly less than half of what a full-time executive and an assistant could cost you to attempt such an important endeavor without our experience, credibility and resources. Most likely after a short period of time, if he is successful, he will want to restructure his position at your firm, and will demand an increase in fee arrangements. With Targon-GEAN however; you may choose to proceed on working with us for years, and still be obligated to only give 30 days notice if you choose to undertake a project independently.
We would agree on a success fee formula in the case of closing a deal. Our accrued fees and expenses are deductible from the success fee. This would ensure you that in a one-time acquisition search, it will end up costing you less than the investment banker or business broker who would have proposed and attempted to finalize a deal while risking your investments.
Targon-GEAN has a highly skilled staff of administrative personnel, marketing researchers and financial consultants with headquarters based in Atlanta, GA; Seaford, NY; and offices in Paris, France and Shanghai, China.
As stated, you will always be guaranteed to work with me personally; while I meet with you on a regular basis for one day meetings either at your office or plant, in addition to a series of overseas visits with other firms abroad.
I am assisted by researchers and an administrative staff who are qualified in investigative research, as well as exploring other approaches of fact-finding missions for the best possible solutions for your company. Our personnel will do in-depth studies utilizing Internet computer databases pertaining to your individual requirements along with organized and focused mass mailings. Immediately, we will be in contact with your competitors allowing us to ascertain where your competition exists and the hidden threats they pose; thereby, allowing us to determine with whom you should share financial partnership.
